1. Styles* is yet another main (or default) script. Since the Effects panel in PSE only allows to use the existing preset styles, you may need this tool to save your custom layer styles, import style sets from ASL files, and manage individual styles (more about).
*Not available in PSE 6.

2. Two new commands in the Color and Tone dialog: Split Channels
and Merge Channels help you to analyze and edit color channels individually.

3. A new feature in the Selections dialog: Duplicate Channel lets you copy a saved selection (alpha-channel) to another document.

4. Two commands in the Masks dialog: Duplicate Layer Mask and Duplicate Vector Mask let you copy a mask to a different layer.

5. Four additions to the Scripts catalog:

• Handstitching (edge effect)
• Edge Mask (sharpening script)
• Graffiti (text effect)
• iDate (design utility)
